KUWAIT: Under the patronage and the presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the graduation ceremony for the 50th batch of officer cadets was held on Wednesday, at Ali Al-Sabah Military Academy. A total of 409 officer cadets graduated from the Kuwait Army and the National Guard. In his opening remarks, Commander of Ali Al-Sabah Military Academy Brigadier General Fawaz Al-Musailem emphasized that His Highness the Amir’s presence at the ceremony reflects the leadership’s commitment to preparing a new generation of officers equipped with knowledge and leadership skills to serve and protect the country.

He highlighted that the academy’s role extends beyond military training, aiming to instill national and humanitarian values that shape leaders capable of making good decisions in critical moments and working as a team to overcome challenges, adding the cadets underwent three years of physical and mental training, which helped develop their skills and prepared them to take on military and national responsibilities.

KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah attended and patronized the graduation ceremony of the Ali Al-Sabah Military Academy 50th batch of officer cadets. His Highness the Amir was received by Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah AlSalem Al-Sabah and Kuwaiti Army Deputy Chief-of-Staff Air Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad AlSabah, Acting Defense Ministry Undersecretary Sheikha Dr Shamayel Ahmad Al-Sabah and Academy Commander Fawaz Al-Musailem as well as other officials.

Addressing the graduates, he said: "Future leaders! Today marks not the end of your journey, but the beginning of a new phase that demands dedication, innovation and a deep sense of responsibility toward your country. You are entrusted with a great duty to be worthy of this trust and remain the strong shield that protects Kuwait.” He also praised the role of the graduates’ families, acknowledging their sacrifices and unwavering support, expressing appreciation for the military leadership’s efforts in advancing the armed forces and fostering national pride among its members.

The event was attended by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation Dr Adel Majid Boursli, along with senior state officials, graduates’ families and a large gathering of citizens. At the end of the event, the newly graduated officer cadets took the oath and His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal honored the Academy’s top graduates. The ceremony concluded with a military parade and the national anthem.
