KUWAIT: In honor of Kuwait National and Liberation days, the International Women’s Group (IWG) organized a celebration on Sunday at the Crowne Plaza. In her opening remarks, Paulina Dlamini, wife of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Eswatini and President of IWG praised Kuwait’s enduring spirit and values.

“On this special day, we celebrate Kuwait’s rich history while looking forward to a future filled with progress and prosperity. Kuwait has always been a land of strength and determination, demonstrating to the world that perseverance and unity are the keys to success, making it a model for economic and cultural development on a global scale.

Today, we stand with the people of Kuwait in raising their flag high and celebrating their deeply rooted values of solidarity and generosity that make Kuwait a truly unique and exceptional nation,” she stated. Dlamini noted that more than just a tribute to the past, this occasion is a moment to look forward, as the Kuwaiti people continue their dedication to progress and prosperity.

In her turn, Sheikha Hanouf Bader Al-Sabah emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of past generations and reaffirming Kuwait’s commitment to peace and prosperity. “As we reflect on our journey, we remember the sacrifices of those who came before us and renew our dedication to progress, peace and prosperity. On this day, we express our sincere appreciation to our friends and partners who have stood by our side and shared our vision for a future built on mutual respect and shared prosperity,” she said.
