Joint Program Production Institution was founded by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as a pioneering initiative to enhance media and cultural collaboration across member states. The institution has played a key role in producing meaningful content that reflects the region’s values and promotes awareness, education and social dialogue.
JPP’s objectives were to revive the cultural heritage in the Gulf area and raise the level of artistic production of radio and television programs in those countries, in order to embody the common and proper spirit of the Gulf countries. Since 1977, the institution has been keen on producing many educational, cultural, and environmental, and health programs as well as serials that focused on significant aspects in the march of the societal development of the GCC peoples.
