Warba Bank announces winners of Al-Sunbula weekly draw

KUWAIT: Warba Bank, Kuwait’s premier provider of corporate and investment banking services, on Monday announced the winners of the latest Al-Sunbula weekly draw as part of its continued commitment to reward loyal customers. The draw was held in the presence of a representative from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in addition to Warba Bank officials.

This week, ten Al-Sunbula account holders each received a cash prize of KD 1,000. The winners are as follows: Shamael Adel Mohammad Al-Baloul, Ibrahim Mubarak Hashr Bin Kattal, Abdulaziz Abdullah Barak Al-Otaibi, Ali Abdullah Mohammad Al-Ajmi, Hamad Mohammad Jassim Al-Matar, Mishari Obaid Mohammad Al-Mutairi, Sarah Zaki Mohammad Mahmoud, Abdullah Shlewih Abdullah Al-Ajmi, Faisal Ajeer Manawer Al-Otaibi and Amal Ali Fahad Hussein Bozabar.

Designed to support customers’ savings goals, Al-Sunbula account offers a unique savings opportunity, combining attractive returns on their savings with the chance to win cash prizes through regular draws year-round. Explained the eligibility criteria, Abdulaziz Saud Al-Bakhait, Area Manager of the Retail Banking Group at Warba Bank, said, “Customers are required to deposit a minimum of KD 100 to qualify for both the weekly and grand Al-Sunbula draws.

For every KD 10 in their account, customers receive one entry based on the lowest monthly balance, increasing their chances of winning as their balance grows. The balance must remain in the account for a full month to be eligible in the weekly draw, and two months to be eligible in the grand draws. What differentiates Al-Sunbula is that there are no restrictions on deposits or withdrawals, and the more a customer deposits, the higher their chances of winning.”

In addition to the benefits of Al-Sunbula account, Warba Bank recently introduced its latest banking solution, Customer Onboarding, as part of its ambitious five-year strategy. This innovative digital service allows non-Warba customers to easily open an Al-Sunbula account online via the Bank’s website, without the need to visit a branch.

Through this new automated system, unique within Kuwait’s banking sector, new customers can complete their account setup in five minutes, at any time and from any location.
