KUWAIT: Secretary General of the Hunting and Equestrian Club Sheikh Sabah Fahad Al-Nasser said that there is a great development in equestrianism after opening Kuwaiti tracks with each other and allowing horses and trainers to participate in any of the tracks of local clubs, and the prizes offered to the winners in all Kuwaiti tracks exceeded one million and 400 thousand Kuwaiti dinars thanks to the efforts of the President of the Hunting and Equestrian Club, Sheikh Dari Fahad Al-Ahmad, members of the club’s board of directors and members of the Supreme Commission for Horse Racing.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Nasser said in a press statement on the sidelines of the 11th meeting race for horses at the Hunting and Equestrian Club: ”The process of participation and entry for the race is done online, where each participant can choose the half he wants and the distance he chooses, and the opening of the tracks with each other made it easier for horse people, and the value of the prizes was increased to become the lowest prize of KD 1,500, and all runs in the Hunting and Equestrian Club are all cups unlike the previous ones, and there are valuable prizes that are cars provided to the winners throughout the season, in addition to providing 4 cars at the end of the season for the champions of the points league, for the coach, jockey, owner and horse with the highest points in the season, as well as financial prizes for the second and third place winners.”
The secretary of the Hunting and Equestrian Club indicated that the number of horses participating in the horse races exceeded 300 heads, and there is a large turnout of fans, especially from the female element, in addition to the attendance of families to encourage the participants. The 11th meeting of the Hunting and Equestrian Club saw the horses "Kahilan”, "Enertemple”, "Houda de Nelance”, "Marrakech Express”, "Hoor”, "Northern Prince” and "Gilmoud Al-Muzban” win the first places.
