A Dolce & Gabbana retrospective at the Grand Palais in Paris

The retrospective exhibition Du Coeur à la Main: Dolce & Gabbana has opened at the Grand Palais in Paris after a successful run in Milan. Showcasing around 200 unique pieces from Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria collections, the exhibition highlights the intricate craftsmanship and rich cultural influences behind the brand’s work.

Curated by Florence Muller, the exhibition spans 10 rooms, each themed around inspirations such as Sicilian cathedrals and Italian opera. Notable sections include the Devotion room, exuding Baroque theatricality, and a recreation of the brand’s Milan atelier, where artisans demonstrate their craft.

This exhibition also marks a symbolic collaboration between Italian and French fashion, with Dolce & Gabbana being the first major non-French brand to exhibit at the newly renovated Grand Palais. Following Paris, the exhibition will travel to nine cities worldwide, with a potential Middle Eastern stop.
