Civil ID card prohibited for travel between Kuwait and GCC countries without a valid passport

The Ministry of Interior has announced that the civil ID card is prohibited from being used as a travel document between Kuwait and the GCC countries in the following cases: when a valid passport is not available, when a passport is lost and a replacement is pending, or when a decision to revoke the passport has been issued. In the case of passport revocation, the restriction will apply for the duration required to process the revocation, but this period should not exceed two weeks.
