Kuwait University opens registration for aptitude tests

KUWAIT: Kuwait University announced Sunday that online registration for the second round of academic aptitude tests for 12th-grade students—limited to Kuwaiti nationals and children of Kuwaiti women—will be open from January 7 to 13. According to a press release, the tests will be held on Saturdays, February 1 and 15, and April 15 and 26, at the Sabah Al-Salem University City.

Registration for non-Kuwaiti students will take place on January 12 and 13, or until all seats are filled. The university encourages all 12th-grade students, equivalent qualifications holders, and high school graduates to register via the university’s website.

The university stressed the importance of following the registration steps: entering personal details, paying a 10 KD fee per test via debit card, and printing the test admission card for location details.

The first two registration days are for Kuwaiti students and children of Kuwaiti women who have not previously taken the test. Students with missing data in the registration system should follow the instructions under “Create New User.”

The university clarified that all registrations and modifications will be processed through the online system only. Students are urged to adhere to all guidelines on test day. It added that completing the aptitude test does not guarantee university admission, and fees are non-refundable once paid. For inquiries, students may contact the “Help Me” service via email at cem.meas@ku.edu.kw — KUNA
