ShareKUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah separately received at Seif Palace on Sunday His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, along with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and His Highness Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Defense Minister.
In separate meetings at Seif Palace on the same day, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Interior Minister.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef also chaired a meeting at Seif Palace on Sunday morning with leaders and officials from relevant government agencies to follow up on the measures taken by these agencies to address the cases of foreign wives of Kuwaiti nationals who had their citizenship revoked, in accordance with Article 8 of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law. The meeting also discussed proposals to ensure that these women are provided with a decent life.
The meeting focused on the legal framework for how government agencies deal with the status of foreign wives of Kuwaiti nationals who have had their citizenship revoked. In attendance were the Acting Deputy Director-General for Insurance Affairs at the Public Authority for Social Insurance, Salama bin Salama, and the Acting Director-General of the Public Authority for Civil Information, Jaber Al-Kandari. — KUNA
