KUWAIT: The Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, met with Lieutenant General Sahir Mirza, Pakistan’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, on Monday to discuss key issues of mutual interest, focusing on military cooperation and development between the two nations.
The meeting, held during Lt General Mirza’s official visit to Kuwait, was followed by an official reception. According to a statement from the Kuwaiti General Staff, Lt General Mirza also visited the Mubarak Al Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College, where he received a comprehensive briefing on the college’s role in preparing military leaders and its academic and training programs aimed at enhancing leadership and operational skills.
Additionally, Sheikh Dr Abdullah Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, met with Lt General Mirza to further discuss areas of collaboration and strengthening ties between Kuwait and Pakistan. The meeting, which took place on Monday, was attended by Sheikha Dr Shamayel Ahmed Khaled Al-Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for External Equipment, along with other senior officials from the Ministry of Defense. — KUNA
