KUWAIT: Coinciding with the celebration of the opening of the 26th edition of the Arabian Gulf Cup football tournament, Al-Tomouh Sports Club for people with mental disabilities sought on Saturday to share with its members of athletes, their families, administrative and technical staff of the club the joy of the opening and watch the matches through a live screening hall in order to activate the element of integration in the community.
The hall witnessed a distinctive presence of athletes with mental disabilities, who showed remarkable interaction with the proceedings of the impressive opening ceremony, along with the administrative and technical staff of the club, as well as workers and those interested in the field of care and rehabilitation of people with disabilities to participate in watching the Kuwait-Oman match and the following matches within the tournament schedule. The Kuwait Tomouh Club is keen to organize these events to enable athletes to follow sports events and create a distinctive interactive atmosphere for them and their families.
