KUWAIT: The Supreme Organizing Committee of the Khaleeji Zain 26 tournament finalizing the finishing touches for the opening ceremony that will be held at 7:00 pm next Saturday, before the opening match of the Gulf Cup hosted by Kuwait, which brings together our national team and its Omani counterpart at 8:00 pm on the same day at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.

The supreme organizing committee of Khaleeji Zain 26 has assigned the organization of the opening ceremony to "Baltic Wonder Studio” company provided that it will have an integrated Gulf-Arab character, with a variety of artistic segments, accompanied by the latest sound technologies and light effects, to show the ceremony in a wonderful way that pleases the audience. The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Television Affairs, a member of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the tournament, Turki Al-Mutairi, confirmed that the opening ceremony will witness the participation of a number of local and international artists who will present several performance segments, and said: "We are keen to closely follow the daily rehearsals, through which we monitor every detail, in order to have a successful opening ceremony that emulates the best and highest international standards, and the final preparations have reached an advanced stage, and a test performance will be presented within the next two days.”

Al-Mutairi said that the choice of the international company "Baltic Wonder” came after a trade-off with several companies specialized in the same field, and given the successes recorded by the company in major international sporting events, such as the recent FIFA World Cup "Qatar 2022”, the Olympic Games in Brazil "Rio 2016”, and the Winter Games in Russia "Sochi 2014”, adding: "We look forward to seeing a dazzling and exciting opening ceremony, which will be the best introduction to a tournament that is of special interest to the people of the Gulf for its special status, and whose matches usually witness fraternal competition, full of high sportsmanship.”
