RIYADH: The Saudi-Kuwaiti coordination committee on energy, economy, commerce, and industry held its second meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday. This meeting is part of efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation and mutual interests between the two countries under the framework of the Kuwait-Saudi Coordination Council.
Oil Ministry Undersecretary Sheikh Dr Nimr Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah chaired the Kuwaiti side, while Undersecretary for the Ministry of Energy for international cooperation and relations Dr Nasser Al-Dosari headed the Saudi side.
During the meeting, the committee members reviewed key achievements and updates since their previous meeting, which was held in Kuwait on May 25, 2023. The discussions covered 14 major initiatives in the fields of energy, trade, industry, customs, civil aviation, and food, in addition to memoranda of understanding in the areas of economy and trade. — KUNA
