KUWAIT: Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Amthal Al-Huwailah launched the third season of the Nuwair Festival on Sunday. She said it’s a significant step in supporting the national economy and enhancing the status of local products in the market. In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), on the occasion of her inauguration of the festival at the Abdullah Al-Salem Park, Al-Huwailah emphasized that the event is part of national efforts to empower local producers by allowing them to showcase their products and engage directly with consumers, eliminating intermediaries. This helps reduce costs, increase savings for consumers, and boost their confidence in the quality of national products.

She added that the festival provides a vital opportunity for communication between producers and the public, allowing producers to better understand market needs and open doors for development and innovation. She stressed the importance of such events in supporting local sectors and promoting sustainable development.
