KUWAIT: Kuwait bid farewell on Wednesday to martyrs Lance Corporals Bader Al-Azmi and Talal Al-Dosari, who died while on duty, with a military funeral at Sulaibikhat Cemetery. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah offered their condolences to the families of the fallen officers, who are both from the general traffic department of the ministry of interior.
First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah said that the martyrs gave their lives while fulfilling their national responsibilities, showing the highest levels of loyalty and sacrifice for the country. “Our only comfort is knowing that we consider them martyrs in the eyes of God Almighty,” he added. On behalf all Ministry of Interior personnel, he extended his condolences to the families of the martyrs and to the Kuwaiti people, praying for God’s mercy upon them and for strength and patience for their families.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah told KUNA that the martyrs’ noble sacrifices would forever be remembered, symbolizing the highest ideals of loyalty and patriotism. He prayed for the martyrs’ souls and for patience and solace for their families. The military funeral was attended by Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of the Kuwaiti Army Major General Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Fire Force Major General Talal Al-Roumi, as well as numerous security and military leaders, along with a large crowd of citizens and residents. — KUNA
