HH the Crown Prince receives former US diplomat John Kerry

KUWAIT: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received former US Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday morning at Bayan Palace. The meeting was attended by Retired Lieutenant General Jamal Al-Theyab, Head of His Highness the Crown Prince’s Diwan, and Mazen Al-Essa, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince.

His Highness the Crown Prince had met with Kerry, who also served as the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate between 2021 and 2024, while representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah last September in New York. Held on on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the meeting focused on potential avenues of enhancing joint cooperation in response to climate change. — KUNA
