KUWAIT: Sheikh Sabah Mubarak Al-Sabah emphasized that equestrianism represents to him morality, challenge and sophistication, which are qualities that we wish to have in everyone, but unfortunately some have turned “equestrianism” into a business and the sport has become a political platform that has not witnessed development for a long time and few athletes think about the future and development, and most of those who participate in equestrian races are looking for quick gain and fame, and these things unfortunately led to a decline in the level of the sport.

Sheikh Sabah Mubarak Al-Sabah extended his thanks and gratitude to the management of the Arabian Horse Center “Arab House”, which is an integrated professional sports institution, calling on everyone to learn from this successful institution that sponsors Kuwaiti equestrianism.

Sheikh Sabah Mubarak Al-Sabah congratulated the horse people in Kuwait, following the resumption of the temporary export of the horse breed after a pause of more than 10 years between the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, for the purpose of local and international participation, saying: “This is a beautiful opportunity that may open the way for organizing a Gulf championship in which UAE riders participate and also allow Kuwaiti riders to participate with their horses in all tournaments.”
