KUWAIT: Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) and INTERSPORT, one of its leading sports brands, sponsored the ninth edition of the Flare Fitness Festival, which took place on November 21–23 at Marina Crescent. The INTERSPORT booth featured a range of sports activities with prizes and vouchers throughout the three-day Flare Fitness Festival that aimed to motivate and encourage participants and spectators to engage in sports activities at the event. AAW’s Corporate Relations Manager Khaled Bader Al-Mutawa said: “We are delighted to be part of this event through our sport and lifestyle brand, INTERSPORT. We will continue to support and encourage initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles within the community among all age groups.”

Flare Fitness Festival is one of the largest fitness competitions in Kuwait. The event provides athletes with a platform to compete in obstacles and challenges across various sports. Tournaments include the Heat endurance race, the Hindrance obstacle race, the Student Competition, the Barbell weightlifting challenge, the Knockout, and the Sea-Master water challenge.

AAW has a long-standing commitment to supporting local sports initiatives. In recent years, the company has supported the first kids’ marathon organized by “Omniaty”, a national non-profit project granting wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. AAW has also supported and participated in the “Hyatt Breast Cancer Foundation’s Hayatt First Pink Walkathon”, a non-profit organization providing treatment for cancer patients across Kuwait. Additionally, the company sponsored “RunQ8”, Kuwait’s largest charity event for children, hosted by the non-profit organization Fawzia Sultan Rehabilitation Institute.
