His Highness the Crown Prince receives UK, GCC officials

KUWAIT: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received the Lord Mayor of the City of London’s Financial District, Alderman Alastair King, at Bayan Palace on Wednesday, during King’s official visit to Kuwait.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Noura Al-Fassam, His Highness the Crown Prince’s Office Director retired Lieutenant General Jamal Al-Theyab, Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs at the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince Mazen Al-Issa, and UK Ambassador to Kuwait Belinda Lewis.

His Highness the Crown Prince also received the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Al-Budaiwi, at Bayan Palace. During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the key issues on the agenda for the 45th GCC Summit, which is scheduled to be held in Kuwait on December 1. — KUNA
