Finance minister, Lord Mayor of London discuss financial ties

KUWAIT: Minister of Finance Noura Al-Fassam met Tuesday with the Lord Mayor of London Alastair King and his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on strengthening and deepening the economic, financial, and investment relations between the two countries.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the discussion included ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as potential future prospects for financial and investment collaboration, within the context of the longstanding and strategic partnership between Kuwait and the United Kingdom.

The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Saud Salem Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority, British Ambassador to Kuwait Belinda Lewis, and several senior officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Kuwait Investment Authority. — KUNA
