KUWAIT: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received on Sunday at Seif Palace Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs on the occasion of his official visit to the country. During the meeting, Minister Abdelatty delivered a message to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah from President of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. The message addressed the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples, and ways to enhance and develop these ties across all fields, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international fronts.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chief of Crown Prince office retired Lieutenant General Jamal Al-Theyab, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary at the Crown Prince’s Diwan Mazen Al-Essa, Assistant Foreign Minister Ambassador Ahmad Al-Baker and Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Osama Shaltout.
Acting Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah and Finance Minister and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Noura Al-Fassam received the Egyptian foreign minister and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides touched on the bilateral ties between the two countries and latest regional and global events.
The meeting was attended by Head of His Highness the Prime Minister’s office Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel and Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab World Affairs Ahmad Al-Baker and Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Osama Shaltout. Separately, the Egyptian foreign minister met with his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Al-Yahya where they discussed efforts exerted to achieve safety and stability in the region. — KUNA
