Al-Kharafi wins Club Championship

KUWAIT: Kuwait Riding Club rider Ali Jassem Al-Kharafi won the Sahari Club Showjumping Championship. Riders from local clubs participated in the tourney. Al-Kharafi won the main round of the 135 cm height in 55.10 seconds despite the tough competition. Nick Chaning from Britain took the second position, followed by Yara Al-Hunaidi, Fawaz Al-Rashed, Khalid Al-Khubaizi, and Abdulrahman Al-Fuzaie.

Director of the Sahari Stables, Mushari Al-Qattan, awarded the winners their prizes. He said the competition was very strong in the final round as riders battled for the first position. Nich Chaning won first place at the height of 125 cm, followed by Ghazi Al-Fulaij, Hussein Al-Kharafi, Yara Al-Hunaidi, and Alaa Al-Sultan. Mohammad Al-Shimmari won the fourth round at the height of 115 cm, while Abdelwahab Al-Baloul won the 105 cm round.
