KUWAIT: Kuwait Airways announced on Wednesday strengthening its partnership with Amadeus, a technology and innovation company, to develop the mechanism and process of electronic booking. The company’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdulmohsen Al-Faqan, said in a press statement that passengers on board Kuwait Airways can book their flights easily and in three steps, indicating that the booking process was designed and improved to serve customers.
Al-Faqan explained that the company is keen to provide its customers with a comfortable and luxurious travel experience, stressing its commitment to facilitate the process of booking travel procedures. Kuwait Airways was established in 1953 as a private company under the name Kuwait National Airways Limited and started its first flights on March 16, 1954. The Kuwaiti government acquired 100 percent of its ownership in 1962. — KUNA
