Korean Embassy, Kuwait University and King Sejong Institute host Korean calligraphy class

The “Sejong Culture Academy - Korean Language Calligraphy Class” took place on November 4th at Kuwait University (KU) and on November 5th at the Korean Embassy in Kuwait. Organized by the Korean Embassy, KU, and the King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF), this cultural program was designed to offer professional Korean courses to the people of Kuwait. Korean calligraphy expert Min-Yong Park traveled from Korea to conduct the workshops, engaging both university students and the public with an interest in Korean language and culture.

Ambassador Chong-Suk Park of the Republic of Korea to Kuwait gave a congratulatory speech, highlighting calligraphy as a cultural bridge between Arabic and Korean languages. He expressed hope that participants would deepen their interest in Korean culture through this experience.

Participants, ranging in age from teens to adults, expressed their appreciation for the course. Enthusiastic fans of Korean culture, they shared how the workshop provided them with new insights into the Korean language, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Korean Embassy, KU, and KSIF.
