Equestrian level in Kuwait progressing: Coach Milinik

KUWAIT: Kuwait Riding Center Coach Argentinian Patricio Milinik said Kuwait has the ability to develop the equestrian sport year after year, and the equestrian level in Kuwait is continually progressing, and that the coaching team is able to develop and enhance this sport.

He said that he started riding at an early age in Argentina and participated in the local and international tournaments. He said Kuwaiti rider Ali Al-Kharafi has Olympic skills and has horses that posses huge competitive abilities, that in addition to the International experience, and he is a strong competitor to the best riders in the Middle East and Europe.

Milinik said Kuwait riding center has a unique academy to teach riding horses, and give lessons to riders who are over four years of age, that in addition to riders who want to jump. He said Kuwait has riders of very strong mental power and have determination to continue progressing in each season.

He said that Kuwait weather during the horse-riding season is great, while during summer plans are made for lessons, while many riders prefer travelling abroad to hold foreign camps.
