Delegations begin to arrive for CP shooting championship

KUWAIT: Delegations participating in HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Shooting Championship began arriving in Kuwait as the Qatari and Bahraini delegations will arrive today.

Meanwhile the Higher Organizing Committee, headed by President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng. Duaij Al-Otaibi carry on its preparations to continue the usual outstanding organization of tournaments that enjoy the respect and appreciation of all delegations.

Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Secretary General, Tournament Director continues his meetings with the sub-committees to keep up to date with the latest details of the tournament preparations. Meanwhile head of the shotgun referees committee at KSSF Hamad Al-Ruwaisan said there will a refresher course for the referees on Thursday, in order to explain the latest updates on the ISSF law, besides giving them their assignments.

He said there will be 22 Kuwaiti referees, all internationally licensed and have good experience as they referred championships regionally and internationally. Al-Ruwaisan said the referees preparations for the tournament began four months ago to ensure justice for all participating shooters.

He said that Kuwait Shooting Federation will continue its successful organization of HH the Crown Prince tournament which has the interest of all. On his part head of the pistol and rifle referees committee Khalid Al-Jarayed said his referees were enrolled in a refresher courses and are now ready for the main event.

He said international rules and laws apply for HH the Crown Prince Championship, and that the level of the referees is high as all testify to that. Al-Jarayed was sure about the success of the referees in officiating all events, to add to the success of the tournament both organizationally and technically as the case was with previous tournaments organized in Kuwait.
