"The success of the "Shift” program in its 2023 edition has inspired us to continue our support for the second edition in 2024. This program has proven to be a significant opportunity for Kuwaiti women, enabling their participation in the labor market and fostering positive change in Kuwaiti society,” said AlKhatrash.

AlKhatrash further noted that the program’s first edition had a profound impact on the participating Kuwaiti trainees. They developed positive work attitudes, comprehensively understood the investment field, and enhanced their productive abilities and skills. The program’s rigorous training stages prepared them for the local market and provided job opportunities at NIC and other companies.

He also added that this program emphasized the dedication of Kuwaiti women to improving and enhancing their capabilities and skills in line with the requirements of the labor market and the developments taking place, facing challenges while continuously developing. "Through this great success, and in line with the company’s strategy to advance the path of career and professional development and talent management and development, we will support this program in its second edition. We will strive to provide all capabilities to make this program a successful professional development point for all participants to advance in the field of investment and assume leadership positions in the future.

"For the second year, the participation of Kuwaiti women in the economic field was considered an excellent step and a tangible endorsement of the Kuwaiti society’s support for women’s involvement in this field, as what is essential is the presence of competence and the ability to prove themselves and achieve the necessary achievements in society,” said AlKhatrash.

CEO of Creative Confidence Al-Jassim hailed NIC’s participation for the second consecutive year after the remarkable success achieved in its first edition. "We have received more than 365 applications this year. I would like to encourage all female graduates to make use of this exceptional opportunity, offering a training experience that integrates the fields of creativity, innovation, and investment and enables Kuwaiti women to play different and positive roles in society, as Kuwaiti women have made remarkable strides in recent years, and broke barriers in various sectors, to reflect the progress and acceptance of society for women to assume roles that were exclusive to males,” she said.
