KUWAIT: The Championship of Messilah Equestrian Club will be launched today (Friday) with riders from local clubs competing. Competitions will be at heights of 70-80, 90, 105, 115, and 125 cm and they will be concluded with the main event being at the height of 130-135 cm, as the total prize value is KD 3,000.

Chairman of Messilah Club Bader Tareq Al-Mailam said "Kuwait equestrian sport is continually developing and we are optimistic that the riders will give an outstanding performance during the current season (2024-2025), following the preparations in and outside Kuwait”. He said that we have the new generation of young riders for whom we provide the suitable environment to train and develop to reach at better levels.

He called upon fans of show jumping to attend the event and enjoy the skills of the riders, adding that local competitions are held under an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere among all riders of both genders. Dalal Al-Obaid heads the officials committee, while Abdulaziz Al-Mashoputi, Ibtisam Al-Arouri, Anwar Basha and members.
