AI, cybersecurity in line with vision New Kuwait 2035

KUWAIT: The Acting Director General of the Central Agency for Information Technology, Najat Ibrahim, has stressed the importance of enhancing digital empowerment by adopting advanced technical solutions and spreading the culture of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in line with the vision of New Kuwait 2035 to enhance the country’s global competitiveness.

Ibrahim said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the sidelines of the Digital Empowerment and Artificial Intelligence Forum organized by the Authority in cooperation with the Artificial Intelligence Society that the forum represents a specialized platform that brings together experts, decision-makers, engineers, and technical project managers to discuss ways to apply artificial intelligence techniques in various fields. She added that the three-day forum will also discuss how to improve government performance, enhance operational efficiency and develop advanced cybersecurity solutions.

Ibrahim explained that the forum will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in the fields of artificial intelligence and information technology, such as machine learning, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and big data analysis, which contributes to enabling Kuwaiti institutions to adopt these technologies to raise operational efficiency and improve their digital services. The forum comes at a time when the region is witnessing rapid developments in digital infrastructure and communications, as these developments directly affect how businesses are managed and services are delivered. — KUNA
