PWF hosts ‘Shades of Pakistan Exhibition’

KUWAIT: Under the patronage of the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait, Dil Dil Pakistan (Shades of Pakistan Exhibition) Season-2 was organized by Pakistan Women’s Forum, Kuwait (PWF) on October 11, 2024 at IBIS Hotel, Salmiya. Many exhibitors participated in the exhibition showcasing Pakistani brands famous for clothing, jewelry, hand-painted foot-wears, face-paint, handicrafts, food stalls etc. Faisal Majeed, Deputy Head of Mission, and Usman Nawaz, Officer Passport, from the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait attended the event as chief guests.

In his remarks, Majeed praised PWF’s efforts for staying at the forefront in promoting a soft image of Pakistan at every platform and assured that the Embassy of Pakistan will always extend its support to its cause. Visitors got an opportunity to explore a variety of Pakistani stalls. They were entertained by patriotic performances by famous singers in Kuwait. In addition to the cultural stalls, a rickshaw art photo booth was also set up at the entrance which was the center of attraction for everyone.

Earlier, PWF President Nighat Tariq, Sabiha Ubaid (advisory), General Secretary Shazia Arshad and media person Mahrukh Omer received the guests. A token of gratitude was presented to the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait for its support to PWF in organizing the exhibition. Appreciations were awarded to media and volunteers for their great coverage and support for the exhibition.
