KIF launches exhibition

KUWAIT: Kuwait International Fair Company (KIF) announced that the “Perfumes and Cosmetics” exhibition will kick off on Tuesday and will continue until November 2 at the international fairgrounds in the Mishref area with the participation of local and international perfume and cosmetic companies. The company’s executive director of marketing and sales, Basma Al-Duhaim, said in a press statement on Sunday that all allocated areas have been covered and participants’ reservations have been completed amid competition from major exhibitors and sponsors.

Al-Duhaim pointed out the company’s keenness to host the event twice a year, adding that participation in this session has reached its peak significantly with more than 400 exhibiting entities and companies representing local and regional sponsors and agents from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE. There is also strong competition from a number of international brands and trademarks.

Al-Duhaim explained that the exhibition will be held in halls (5, 6, 7 and 8), which reflects the large and increasing turnout for this season, expecting the exhibition to attract more than 250,000 visitors. The exhibition is a pioneering event in the field of perfumes and cosmetics in Kuwait and represents an ideal launching pad for the cosmetics market. It is a suitable opportunity for the consumers to meet with specialists in the world of cosmetics from local, regional and international companies.— KUNA
