KUNA Center launches its training program

KUWAIT: KUNA Center for Media Development launched its training program ‘Speech Skills and Official Spokesperson Techniques for Government Institutions’ on Sunday with the participation of a number of employees of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Kuwaiti Ministries of Interior and Oil, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), the Public Authority for Youth and Warba Bank.

The program, presented by media professional Yousef Jawhar and continuing until October 24, includes an introduction to speech, planning skills, and fears of facing the audience, in addition to an introduction to speech techniques and the speaker, the basics of correct language, correct pronunciation, appropriate tone of voice and how to regulate the respiratory system during speech.

The program combines theoretical and practical approaches in addressing scientific content, vocal coloring, tone of voice, the arts of dialogue and its skills, dialogue, its preparation and writing, scientific rules for discussion, and the necessary skills. It is worth mentioning that the KUNA Center for Media Development was established in December 1995 and is considered one of the most prominent training centers in the region. — KUNA
