A tribute to Lebanon: Resilience in the face of adversity exhibition

The Contemporary Art Platform (CAP) Kuwait, in collaboration with the Lebanese Business Council Kuwait, the Lebanese Ladies Society in Kuwait, and with the participation of UNHCR, proudly opened the exhibition “A Tribute to Lebanon: Resilience in the Face of Adversity.” The exhibition highlights the strength, resilience, and enduring beauty of Lebanon and its rich culture amidst ongoing challenges.

The exhibition will be on view until October 31, 2024, and features a diverse selection of artworks by Lebanese artists from the CAP Collection. These works reflect a wide range of artistic expressions, capturing the spirit of Lebanon through its political, social and cultural dimensions.

In addition to the exhibition, the Contemporary Art Platform is organizing a donation throughout the exhibition period. Supplies such as clothing, blankets, hygiene products, and other essential items are urgently needed to support those affected by the ongoing conflict in Lebanon. Contributions are welcomed at the Contemporary Art Platform, located in Shuwaikh Industrial, Design District, Area 2, Block 1, Street 28.

UNHCR, in collaboration with Tanmia Foundation, will also be collecting funds through a licensed fundraising campaign for Lebanon until December 2024. This exhibition serves not only as a tribute to Lebanon’s artistic heritage but also as a call for support and solidarity during these challenging times.
