Finance minister talks digitization with Microsoft

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Ministry of Finance is looking to become a leading model for digitization in government institutions, according to KUNA. Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, and Acting Minister of Oil Noura Al-Fassam discussed plans for digitization and collaboration in artificial intelligence on Wednesday with Microsoft Official Angela Heise.

In a press release on Wednesday, the ministry said that Microsoft presented its capabilities in supporting Kuwait’s aspirations and goals to accelerate digital transformation, enhance cybersecurity, and utilize artificial intelligence in line with its strategy Kuwait Vision 2035. The two sides agreed on holding other meetings and publicizing success of the e-messaging system, recently overhauled with Microsoft high-tech and the AI applications.
