KUWAIT: Deputy Chief of the Army General Staff and Acting Commander of the Air Force Major General Staff Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah stressed on Thursday the importance of continuing coordination between all concerned authorities to ensure the highest levels of readiness to keep pace with future growth in air traffic. This came in a press statement issued by the Chief of Staff following a visit by Major General Sabah Al-Sabah to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation within the framework of coordination, cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Ministry of Defense and ministries and state institutions.
He praised the efforts made by the Civil Aviation in developing the aviation sector, stressing that close cooperation between military and civil authorities is the key to achieving sustainable successes in this vital sector. A meeting was held between the two sides to discuss, develop and increase the efficiency of air operations, as well as air traffic, future plans and the modernization of technological systems that support aviation operations and increase the safety and security of passengers. — KUNA
