IKEA and Suffix partner to create Little Heroes

KUWAIT: IKEA Kuwait and Suffix have joint forces to create Little Heroes, a MEGA sports event for the little ones. This engaging event is inviting children between the ages of 4 to 12 years to experience what the Olympic Games feel like! They will bring the whole family together, giving kids the chance to explore a wide variety of sports and fun activities inspired by the Olympics.

“We aim to inspire all the little ones in Kuwait to have a more active life, encouraging them to discover their passion for athletics, team sports, and community fun. At IKEA, we believe that play must be at the core of childhood. It is not just fun, it is essential for children’s mental, physical and emotional development,” said Elisa Albendea, IKEA Brand and CMI Director. “With our partnership with Suffix, we are excited to create a joyful and engaging experience that inspires a healthier lifestyle and encourages less screen time and more time outdoors, while incorporating sports and play as a vital part of the everyday life of families in Kuwait,” explained Sabrina Shammas, IKEA Sustainability Manager.

“At Suffix, we are dedicated to organizing prominent and successful sporting events. We are excited to introduce Little Heroes — a dedicated children’s sports event in Kuwait! The event is not only about introducing kids to a variety of sports, but also about creating lasting memories with their families in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Partnering with IKEA adds tremendous value to our vision, as they share our belief in the importance of children’s health and development,” Ahmed Al Majed, COO at Suffix.

Get ready for two days packed with action and smiles at Little Heroes! With thrilling races, jaw-dropping performances, and fun-filled activities for the whole family to dive into. Whether it’s dashing down the track, scoring goals on the field, or just soaking up the energy, kids will be inspired to get moving and enjoy the joy of play in a friendly, supportive space.
