KUWAIT: Kuwait Shooting National team won two new gold medals at the Asian Shotgun Cup 2024, being held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in the double trap event raising the total medals won by Kuwait shooters to (7) medals 5 gold and two silver.
President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations, Secretary General of Asian Shooting Confederation Engineer Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi said this achievement was made as shooter Ahmad Al-Afasi winning the singles event while the team Nasser Al-Mialid, Talal Al-Torqi and Ahmad Al-Afasi won the team contest.
Eng Duaij Al-Otaibi said the outstanding achievements by Kuwait shooters in this event makes us proud and is a proof of Kuwait shooters’ prominence in such major events.
He said Kuwait Shooting Federation pays great attention to shooters of both genders, and provide them with training camps in order to further develop their technical standards. — KUNA
