The program is organized by Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in cooperation with Rehabilitation International and International Social Security Association under the patronage of Sheikh Khalid Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
Bouresli said WCR is one of the most important world activities for the disabled. Participants share ideas and experiences and discuss how to empower the disabled in our societies. This year’s congress is held under the theme "Embracing Inclusion” in an affirmation of the commitment to strengthen opportunities and support the abilities of the disabled. The congress will feature an elite group of experts, academics, and specialized researchers in the fields of rehabilitation, health care, and education in order to exchange knowledge.
Work and employment, as well as challenges the disabled face in the marketplace in addition to raising awareness of available jobs for them, will be among the most notable topics to be discussed. Bouresli said the congress will also discuss education as a basic right for the disabled and the importance of a comprehensive education system.
