KRCS, Sadu Society sign agreement to empower women

KUWAIT: The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Al-Sadu Society, aiming to support and promote women’s craft and manual skills through the Sanad Program. KRCS Vice Chairman, Anwar Al-Hasawi, announced that Al-Jahra Public Library has been designated as the official headquarters for the Sanad Program.

The partnership seeks to open new opportunities to empower women by enhancing their craftsmanship and reviving the traditional Kuwaiti art of Sadu; an important part of the nation’s cultural heritage. — KUNA
