Kuwait Food and Relief Bank launches water supply project

1,040,000 water bottles distributed to mosques, schools, health centers

KUWAIT: The Kuwait Food and Relief Bank announced on Wednesday the implementation of the “Water Supply Bank” project, indicating that it has cooperated with the General Secretariat of Endowments to distribute 1,040,000 water bottles to 520,000 beneficiaries in mosques, schools, hospitals, health centers, and government agencies.

The bank’s Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mishal Al-Ansari, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this project is one of the most important charitable projects carried out by the bank with the aim of serving the largest possible number of members of society. Al-Ansari explained that this project enhances the values of solidarity and social compassion among members of society, praising the efforts of the General Secretariat of Endowments in facilitating the means to make this charitable project and other activities and campaigns implemented by the Food Bank to serve the community a success.

It is worth mentioning that the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank has an integrated team to manage charitable work, as it receives the needy to learn about their needs through its website, www.kuwaitfoodbank.org, which aims to meet all the needs and requirements of the needy families in the country. — KUNA
