KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Army Chief of Staff Lt Gen Bandar Al-Muzain emphasized Wednesday the wise leadership’s dedication to following up on the affairs and conditions of the members of the armed forces and ensuring their readiness and preparedness. He said they are "the nation’s shields and the first to answer the call of duty in defending its security, stability, and the safety of its territory”.

This came in a press statement issued by the General Staff following an inspection visit by Muzain to the 26th Al-Sour Mechanized Brigade, where he was received by the Commander of the Land Forces Brig Gen Fahad Abdullah, the Commander of the 63rd Mechanized Infantry Battalion and several officers of the brigade.

Muzain praised the efforts of the armed forces personnel for their competence, ability and readiness to carry out various tasks and duties, which are the result of continuous training and qualification. He wished the members of the armed forces continued success and urged them to give their utmost for the protection of the nation, remaining loyal to their oath and pledging to listen and obey HH the Amir, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and HH the Crown Prince.

The visit began with a detailed explanation of the key duties of the 26th Al-Sour Mechanized Brigade and the nature of the tasks they perform. Muzain also toured several facilities within the brigade. Muzain also inspected the Sabah Joint Command Group, where he was received by the commander of the group and several officers.

During the visit, he was briefed on the nature of the tasks and duties of the Sabah Joint Command Force, as well as the level of readiness and preparedness of its personnel. 

The statement highlighted the strong coordination and joint military cooperation between the ministries of defense and interior, as demonstrated by their execution of many joint tasks and training exercises. – KUNA
