KUWAIT: Mina Abdullah Refinery of Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has achieved a global achievement that enhances its leading position in the field of safety and operational excellence. The refinery is ranked first among 230 major oil refineries around the world in the latest field survey of risk engineering conducted by the American company Marsh. Marsh specializes in risk management and provides insurance coverage. The refinery topped the list of global refineries, achieving a historical average score of 102.6 points in the survey.
The CEO of the company, Wadha Ahmed Al-Khatib, expressed pride in achieving this great achievement, which reflects the company’s commitment to the highest standards of operational safety. Al-Khatib praised the sincere efforts made by all employees of the National Petroleum Company, stressing that this achievement is not only recorded for the company but a national one and an indicator of the progress made by Kuwait in various fields.
