On Oct 17, 2024, the bank will hold a special draw where 100 winners will each receive KD 1,000. This is the first time this draw is being held, following the bank’s decision to divide the quarterly prize of KD 100,000 among 100 winners, rather than awarding the entire amount to one individual. Previously, the bank also increased the grand annual prize from KD 1.5 million to KD 2 million, earning recognition in the Guinness World Records as the largest cash prize tied to a bank account globally.

With these updates, the AlDanah Millionaire Account draw schedule, which began in 1998 and is now in its 26th consecutive year, has been revised. Moving forward, two millionaires will be crowned annually through two major draws. The grand prize for the annual draw is KD 2 million, and the semi-annual prize is KD 1 million. Each month, 10 winners are selected, with each receiving KD 1,000. A special draw for KD 100,000 was held on April 18, 2024.

The next special draw, scheduled for Oct 17, 2024, will award KD 1,000 to 100 winners. The deadline to participate in this draw is June 30, 2025. The semi-annual draw for the AlDanah Millionaire Account will take place on July 18, 2025, where the winner of KD 1 million will be announced in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Ernst & Young.

Additionally, Gulf Bank announced the grand prize winner of the AlDanah Millionaire Account’s annual draw on Feb 1, 2024. This was the first draw since the annual prize amount was increased from KD 1.5 million to KD 2 million. This change is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to reward its customers and promote a culture of saving in the community. The AlDanah account is one of the top savings accounts in Kuwait, offering regular draws with valuable prizes and numerous benefits for account holders. Each month, 10 winners receive KD 1,000. Additionally, there are two quarterly draws of KD 100,000 each, a semi-annual draw with a prize of KD 1 million, and an annual grand prize draw of KD 2 million.

A unique advantage of the Al-Danah account is that it is the only account in Kuwait where your chances of winning carry over from one year to the next, as part of the bank’s loyalty and reward program. To increase their chances of winning, customers must maintain a minimum deposit of KD 200 in the account or increase their balance to improve their odds of winning in the monthly, quarterly, and annual draws.
