Ascend Boulder Battle 2024 climbs to new heights

KUWAIT: The Ascend Boulder Battle 2024 brought together 100 athletes from 13 countries for an intense competition in Kuwait. Over two days of thrilling climbs and fierce competition, 12 male and female semifinalists battled it out to secure a spot in the finals. The event concluded with a spectacular showcase of talent, with Nasser Burjaib from Kuwait taking first place in the male category, followed by Saud Alzahli and Ahmad Almahrooqi from Oman.

In the female category, Kuwait’s Haya Alsulaibi claimed the top spot, with Hazel from Singapore and Haneen from Jordan completing the podium. The atmosphere was electric, thanks in part to MAD Recovery, the event’s Recovery Partner, who provided athletes with much-needed support and innovative recovery treatments. Their cool and cutting-edge approach to athlete care was a game-changer, ensuring that climbers were in peak condition throughout the competition.
