CAN organizes Heido Sports Academy Championship

KUWAIT: As part of the programs and sports activities carried out by Heido-CAN, a championship was organized under the title “CAN Academy Football Championship” for the second consecutive year, and for ages 4-15 years. Heido Sports Academy Director Abdullah Al-Saleh said the championship was of summer activities, in order to instill the rules of sport and its importance and practice it permanently for children. The closing ceremony was held earlier at Mishref Sports playground with the participation of 134 players, during which players and their guardians were honored due to their response to the invitation to participate.

This comes out of the CAN campaign belief that many parents encourage their children to practice sport, as it is an opportunity to develop the personality traits to be positive and beneficial for the society.

The results of the championship saw Al-Rifae team winning first place and Catalonia was second. Those activities are carried each month at the rate of (2) year long, with the hope of achieving CAN’s awareness goals to raise the rate of health awareness among all society groups.
