KUWAIT: Kuwait Times and Kuwait News hosted students from Kuwait Finance House Summer Program to explore behind the scenes and learn about the field of journalism. The KFH students toured various departments and met the Kuwait Times team, starting with the studio where videos for Kuwait Times’ social media pages are filmed. They then moved to the editorial department, where they learned about the processes involved in news gathering, writing, editing and translating.

Next, the students visited Kuwait Times’ archives, one of the most fascinating and exciting areas due to its collection of historical editions published by Kuwait Times. This visit allowed the students to delve into the past and explore the 63-year history of Kuwait Times. They not only saw historical news but also observed how the newspaper has evolved over time, including the different language supplements published in the past, besides looking for events that happened on the days they were born.
