This came in a press statement by Minister Al-Awadhi following the opening of the unit on Wednesday, which is the third in Kuwait after the fertility and assisted reproduction unit at the Maternity Hospital and Jahra Hospital.

He said that this unit is an addition to the health system and a qualitative leap in the services provided, as it will contribute to reducing waiting periods and includes the best consultants and specialists to provide services according to international standards. For her part, Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Departments Council and Head of the Obstetrics Department at Farwaniya Hospital Dr Amal Khader said that the opening of the unit is the result of the hard work of the Ministry’s employees.

Khader added that the unit provides medical consultations for cases of delayed childbearing, in addition to conducting the necessary examinations to determine the causes of the delay and treat it using modern technologies such as IVF and in vitro fertilization techniques according to modern and approved scientific and international protocols.
