She told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Monday that this inspection visit came to follow up on the progress of work on the project, especially after a 12-year hiatus.

The minister said that the efforts of the Ministry of Public Works come in accordance with the directives of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who urged the ministers to conduct field tours and inspection visits, and the need for cooperation and continuous coordination between all government agencies to unify efforts and harness energies to expedite the implementation of strategic development projects in the country.

She stressed the need to accelerate the pace of achievement and called on those responsible for the project to intensify efforts and complete the projects within the specified time period in accordance with the signed contract. The field visits and inspection of projects are an important step to ensure the progress of vital projects and infrastructure in the country.
