KUWAIT: The second round of Zain Premier League was completed with two matches, the first between Kazma and Salmiya, and the second between Khaitan and Al-Nasr.

Kazma seemed determined to harvest the three valuable points, specially that it was a home game at the Friendship and Peace Stadium. The two teams exchanged attacks and counter attacks until the 40th minute when Salmiya was awarded with a penalty kick that was converted by the Brazilian Alex Lima, but that score did not last long as Kazma’s Brazilian Dado equalized from the spot also, followed by Jordan’s Ahmad Al-Ersan, as the first half ended with Kazma leading 2-1.

Kazma was able to add two more goals in the second half by Columbian Hansel Zapata and Dodo. Salmiya attempted to do something to catch up with the score and were able to score by players Muhannad Al-Mahameed and Seif Al-Hashan, but it was too late as Kazma won 4-3.

Meanwhile, in the second match Al-Nasr seemed to be unable to be at the same level of last season, as they lost to Khaitan Club 0-2, in their Saturday match.

Khaitan’s Nigerian players Emanuel and Prince secured the first 3 points for their team leaving Al-Nasr pointless for losing its second match of the season. Emanuel scored his goal during the added time of the first half, then during the second half Al-Nasr did not respond as required, until the 82nd minute when Prince scored his goal.
