Qadisiya Sports Club begin its campaign in style

KUWAIT: Qadisiya Sports Club football team began its campaign for winning Kuwait Zain Football Championship with a win against Yarmouk Club (1-0) Friday evening.

Al-Qadisiya which lost its first match against Kuwait 1-0, was able to score relatively early in the match in the 12th minute by its Brazilian striker Igor Rossi who received a pass from veteran player Bader Al-Mutawaa.

The second half of the match saw Qadisiya’s level drop specially after its players Athbi Shihab and Muath Al-Dhafiri were injured, as Yarmouk players attempted to do something but failed.

Meanwhile, Al-Arabi did not find its match with Tadhamon easy, as Al-Arabi scored in the 40th minute, then Tadhamon answered 3 minutes later. Nigerian player Anayo Iwuala added a second goal for Al-Arabi, only to have Talal Al-Ansari answer it, and that is how the first half ended (2-2).
